Plan BACnet Network for NK823x

Before starting the NK8000 configuration on Desigo CC, make sure that the communication network planning is complete and the following BACnet information is available:

• BACnet addresses (Device IDs) for the NK8000 and the connected units
• The IP address to assign to the NK823x Ethernet Port
• BBMD and routing configuration (if the BACnet network includes multiple IP subnets)
• UDP port number

All BACnet routing mechanisms require a working IP infrastructure that enables proper communication between Desigo CC Server or FEP and the NK8000. Use standard IP tools (for example, the Ping command) to verify this communication.
